Why Choose ImageColor
Professional Diagnostics Without the Premium Price Tag
The ImageColor Pro 240 is a high-performance compact handheld thermal imaging camera engineered specifically for UK tradespeople, building inspectors, and capable homeowners. Bridging the gap between laggy, low-resolution budget scanners and prohibitively expensive premium brands, this device delivers exceptional clarity. With a true 240x240 thermal sensor and a fluid 25Hz refresh rate, you can scan environments quickly without the frustrating screen lag found in entry-level models.
Versatility for Every Trade Application
Whether you require a reliable handheld thermal imaging camera for HVAC maintenance, electrical inspection, or comprehensive home inspection, the ImageColor Pro 240 is built for the job. It features a broad operating temperature range of -20°C to 550°C (-4°F to 1022°F), making it equally adept at spotting cold draughts and missing insulation as it is at identifying overheating circuit breakers, blocked radiators, or underfloor heating leaks. The wide 50° field of view is perfectly optimised for indoor diagnostics, allowing you to capture entire walls or switchboards in a single frame.
Practical Site-Ready Features
Designed for real-world environments, this industrial handheld thermal imaging camera features a built-in Class 2 laser pointer, enabling you to physically pinpoint the exact source of a fault once identified on screen. Choose from 15 distinct colour palettes to highlight specific temperature gradients, ensuring the best visibility for your specific task. The rugged, rechargeable design provides up to 8 hours of continuous use, ensuring it lasts through a full day of site inspections.

Customer Reviews
Brilliant piece of kit for the van. I'm a plumber and use this constantly for tracing underfloor heating manifolds and finding blocked radiators. The 240x240 resolution is a massive step up from my old cheap scanner. Crystal clear images.
As an electrician, I needed a reliable handheld thermal imaging camera for electrical inspection without paying FLIR prices. This ImageColor unit is spot on. Spots hot breakers instantly and the 25Hz screen means no annoying lag when scanning a large board.
Really solid camera for building surveys. The laser pointer is incredibly useful for showing clients exactly where the insulation is missing. Only giving 4 stars because the menu took me a few minutes to get used to, but the actual thermal performance is top tier.
Bought this for home DIY and renovations. It found a massive cold spot in my living room wall where the cavity insulation had dropped. Paid for itself by helping me fix the draught. The 15 colour palettes are great for highlighting different issues.
Excellent value for money. I run an HVAC maintenance company and we've just equipped three of our engineers with these. They are robust, the battery lasts a full shift, and the images are sharp enough for professional client reports.
Great thermal imager for the price. I use it for automotive diagnostics and checking engine manifolds. The temperature range is more than enough. It struggles slightly on very shiny chrome exhausts due to reflection, but that's normal for any thermal camera. Just use some masking tape.
Next day delivery was spot on. Used it immediately to find a leak in a flat roof. The contrast between the wet and dry insulation was so obvious on the screen. Highly recommend this for any property maintenance team.
